WIP...Practice! Practice! Practice!

Since iv been busy within this year, my model building skill are quite rusty. So i started hand painting again with few colours from GUNDAM MARKERS.

For practice, i started to build LBX Lucifer with an idea of altering the colour from White to Black. AWESOME. Cant hardly wait until its all done. PASSION.

LBX Achilles

Hello everyone. This is LBX001 Achilles, this is also considered a HG kit (high grade kit). This kit have plenty of detail and pretty cool for a small size kit (roughly about 5-6 inch in height). It comes in a different color than the one in the picture. The one i'v posted is already re-painted fully from head to toe. Post and Pre-shading is also applied (still mastering the technique).

You can almost pose it any way you like especially with the wide foot design.

The mantle cape is also included with the kit and its made of paper that you have to cut from the manual.

The back of the shield is detail painted same as the anime series.

This is also my first kit i'v entered in a international competition (HobbyLink Japan Sci-Fi Competition). Even tough i didn't won but the experience was wort it since they were a lot of amazing build from other contestants. Hope you guys enjoyed the post and keep up the PASSION people.

LBX Achilles Deed

Introducing LBX 018 Achilles Deed. This is a straight build without applying the stickers but it still looks awesome. Will custom paint it soon! 

[WIP] LBX Hunter.

70% done. Still left with the hands, back missile, tail and the sniper rifle.

This is another post related to LBX or Danball Senki in Japan. LBX Hunter appearance resembles much likely as wolf, not like the previous one, LBX AX-00 more to humanoid form. I'v been working on this for quite a while and i'v used my own mixture of TAMIYA acrylic paint for the major base color and every single parts is painted except for the poly-caps. I did not applied pre-shading this time since i will be using the post-shading technique. Hopefully can finish this soon as there are plenty of LBX are queuing for their turn to be painted.

LBX AX-00

PASSION PEOPLE! finally i'v completed AX-00. Not a single sticker is used only painted using airbrush and hand. Really loving it and the tone of the color are just amazing. It's really my best workmanship so far. Hopefully all my kits will be even greater. Enjoy the pictures everyone. Until next time, PASSION!

AX-00, work in progress.

Here is my latest project that i'v been working on for this pass week. Its about 90% done and only left with the shoulder armor, hands and top coat it with TAMIYA clear. It's been exciting and a wonderful experience since i'v used pre-shading technique.

I'm really loving the outcome ^_^ so until next time, PASSION guy.

First attempt post-shading

Today i'v tried some new technique with my TAMIYA BASIC AIRBRUSH that is applying post-shading. What is post shading you may ask. From my understanding it is applying shades after you applied the base color on your kit so it would look much more attractive and realistic. For me just color on plastic does not suit me well if there's no shading. From shading you can make weathering effect more real. That's just my point of  a model kit builder supposed to do ;P

I applied base color TAMIYA light grey and post-shade it with TAMIYA smoke (mix  it  70% TAMIYA lacquer thinner)

Apply the shades repeatedly if its uneven but DO NOT over do it since its post shading once you made a mistake you cant undone it, so be patient and wait and and hour or so until the paint cures. The result is quite satisfying for a first attempt..hehe...next will be pre-shading so until next time, PASSION!

New LBX model kit coming out early next year. This is absolutely in my hunting list!

Things you can do with leftover runners.

Here is a good project if your into plastic model kits. I bet many of you out there have plenty of leftover runners laying around the room. Instead of using it for modeling tool or throw it away, why not build something out of it like the picture above. Really interesting what you can do with a whole lot of runners and a touch of imagination! ^_^ PASSION!

Little Battler Experience just landed

Here is my previous order purchased online by Ms. Muzzy for my birthday present ~ aww...so sweet ~. The order consist of 8 boxes, all products are manufactured/released by BANDAI. Theres is one special model kit also and its limited since you can only attain it if you purchase an LBX PSP Game where inside is the model kit of AX-00 *the 1st LBX given to Ban from his father*.

The first kit i will do is the AX-00, cant hardly wait to start. Hope you guys have a great Weekdays and happy modeling everyone, PASSION!

VF-1A Super Battroid Valkyrie

Finally my own masterpiece completed. It's been painted, polished and all decals are mark in its right place. This is a very challenging model kit to start with but i just the details on it. The more you put your effort into it the better or even greater the result.

The stripes and the "Skull" is fully painted/airbrush, not using the decals provided  since i'v torn some of it and it forced me to make adjustment to it. 

I've used lacquer type spray paint to paint its gun.

Building a model takes time and patients. If you really have passion for it then its definitely would be easy for you too.I highly recommend this model kit (HASEGAWA VF-1A) for those who just starting into model building. Hope you guys enjoyed it. PASSION people!

Next on my hunting list.

This is another model kit that will be in my hunting list. I'm going to really enjoy building this once i have it in hand. Omnimon is one of my favorite in the Anime series, Digimon and it is also an awesome character since its the combination of the two of my most favorite character (War Greymon and Metal Garurumon).
